Not my cuppa, but gorgeous for all that

You know, you'd think by now I'd have learnt my lesson. I'm just not a manga kind of person. I occasionally find one that speaks to me, but not often enough to induce me to buy something by an artist who isn't in my top ten.
There's nothing AT ALL wrong with Line no Bara. It's a pretty cool story, too, of knights and princes and dragons and a King who falls in love with his closest adviser. The men are - not to put too fine a point on it - gorgeous, and the single page art... *fans self* Well, let's just say Minami Megumu has a way with long, lean, beautiful boys.
There's a second story in this volume - very short - about a man in love with his adopted 'brother'... who returns his affection. As with the other, it's wonderfully drawn. I can't put my finger on why this doesn't appeal to me, but it certainly is my own fault, not that of the book. Go ahead and buy. This is truly a lovely manga.
